Today we want to share with you a summary of what we experienced and, more importantly, reflect on the transcendental importance of taking the Gospel to children. A service was held with children from the city of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, in the Baptist Church ¨Antorcha de Salvación¨, where the Gospel of Christ was preached.
Our day was full of color and creativity. Through games, songs, and crafts, we sought to present biblical truths in a way that resonated with the minds and spirits of the children. The central theme was God’s unconditional love, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, and the promise of salvation for all who believe in Him.
But beyond the fun and entertainment, this activity reminded us of the urgent need to prioritize child evangelism. Children are a valuable portion of the present and future church. They are fertile ground where the seed of faith can germinate and produce abundant fruit. Sowing the Gospel in their lives from an early age provides them with a solid foundation on which to build their identity, their values and their relationship with God.
May we as a church call children through the gospel to know Jesus, to love his Word and to live a life that glorifies his name.
