Evangelism in Las Tosas

The proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ is not merely a biblical suggestion, but an explicit and central mandate in the Christian faith: God has commissioned us to preach his glorious gospel to the ends of the earth, trusting that he will save according to his will those who believe in the cross of Christ. As a church we understand this, and it has been our fervent desire to go out and preach to various places in our locality, and even to some that are somewhat distant from it.

This time we have reached the community of Las Tosas, a small settlement northwest of the city of Sancti Spíritus. A group of brothers, together with the missionary Osvalmy Jaramillo, were able to preach the message of salvation to a group of inhabitants of the community, who were ready to hear the good news of salvation in Christ.

Let us pray that God will continue to commission his children in the proclamation of his gospel, not only in this city but in every corner of the Earth. May God’s name be proclaimed and his kingdom grow!

Matthew 28:19-20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”

Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
