Planting of Las LLanadas

The missionary call is an urgent summons to participate in God’s redemptive plan for humanity. It is an echo of the Great Commission, a clear and forceful mandate that transcends borders, cultures and eras: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19). Recognizing and responding to this call is fundamental for the church, defining its purpose and impact in the world.

The importance of the missionary call lies in the pressing need to share the Gospel with those who have not yet had the opportunity to hear the good news of salvation. Billions of people live in spiritual darkness, without knowing the unconditional love of Christ, without experiencing the transforming power of his grace.

By the grace of our God a new church has been planted in Llanadas. The missionary Orbis, together with other brothers, have come to this place and have shared the message of the Gospel, seeing the fruits there. This new church continues to reach out and disciple, and as a goal to continue to other nearby places to plant new churches there as well.

May each of us, led by the Holy Spirit, examine our hearts and ask ourselves, “How can I respond to the missionary call in my life?” May we unite in prayer and action, carrying the message of hope and love to every corner of the earth, until every knee bends and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord.
