Pastoral Residence

The Christian Doctrine class of the residence for pastors and church planters was held at the Antorcha de Salvación Baptist Church, with the participation of several pastors and brothers from various churches in our territory.

The pastoral residency, an intensive training model for future church leaders, is distinguished by its practical and relational approach. However, a truly transformative residency cannot do without a solid foundation: Christian doctrine. In a world where absolute truths are blurring and subjective interpretations are gaining ground, the pastoral residence must be a crucible where doctrine is internalized, lived and communicated with clarity and conviction.

The pastoral residency that prioritizes Christian doctrine is not limited to an academic exercise. It is not simply a matter of memorizing creeds and theological definitions. The objective is much deeper: to transform the character of the resident in the light of biblical truths.

The pastoral residency, with Christian doctrine at its core, is essential for the formation of leaders of integrity, capable of guiding the church in a confusing and challenging world. By internalizing, living and communicating doctrine with clarity and conviction, residents become equipped to serve God and his people with wisdom, humility and love. Doctrine is not a mere adornment, but the indispensable foundation of effective and enduring pastoral leadership. It is the compass that guides, the anchor that supports and the light that illuminates the shepherd’s path.
