Today, we want to share with you the joy and vision that the Lord has placed in the hearts of our brothers and sisters, Daniel and Sonia, who have responded to the divine call to plant a church in the town of Seville in Villa Clara, Cuba. As Proverbs 16:9 says, “A person’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps.” We firmly believe that God is directing every step of this new mission.
This church plant is a tangible expression of Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Daniel and Sonia’s desire is to extend the Kingdom of God in Seville, bringing the message of hope and salvation to those who do not yet know it.
We know that the path of mission often presents challenges. At this particular moment, we pray for our brothers and sisters, asking the Lord to provide a reliable and efficient means of transportation to carry out their ministry. This would allow them to make the necessary home visitations, reach more distant areas, and bring the love of Christ to those who need it most. As 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that is necessary, you may abound in every good work.”
