In the heart of Tuinicú—a small town in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba—the congregation shepherded by missionary Yosmani Morales Rodríguez demonstrates that size does not determine the intensity of faith. With only 10 active members—three of whom have already been baptized—they strive every day to keep the flame of the Gospel alive within their community.
Despite being numerically small, the congregation has placed special emphasis on the town’s children. They currently work with approximately 14 children, providing them with biblical instruction, love, and emotional support in an environment that often lacks formal religious spaces.
Missionary Yosmani Morales Rodríguez leads this ministry with deep dedication, facing the challenges inherent to the Cuban context: limited resources, difficult transportation, and a dispersed population. Nevertheless, the steadfastness and unity among the brethren have enabled the church to stand firm and serve as a beacon of light for the little ones and their families.
In Tuinicú, a church small in number proves that the Kingdom of God does not require vast multitudes to leave a lasting mark. Let us all pray for this church—that God, in His will, may add many more members and sanctify those who are already there.
With gratitude, TOSI International / “Antorcha de Salvación” Baptist Church.
