A vision born in prayer.

TORCH OF SALVATIONINTERNATIONAL
From a living room in Cuba to an international ministry. A journey of faith, local churches, and a shared commitment to the Great Commission.

The milestones that shaped our ministry—and the calling that continues to guide us.
After several days of intense prayer and seeking God’s direction, a clear calling took shape: to live for the fulfillment of the Great Commission, taking the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Fourteen people gathered in a living room in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. Together, they shared the vision and took the first steps of what would become the Torch of Salvation Ministry.
The ministry focused on establishing a strong local church. Torch of Salvation Church was born, becoming the foundation for everything that followed.
Several churches in the region joined the vision. The ministry grew into a parachurch model, uniting churches within a geographic area to evangelize, revitalize existing congregations, and plant new churches.
Encouraged by pastors and believers in the United States, the ministry took a step of faith beyond Cuba. Torch of Salvation International — TOSI — was founded in Vienna, Virginia.
Since then, the ministry has supported evangelism, church planting, leadership training, social assistance, and ministry infrastructure and logistics.
In the region where the ministry began, local leaders now sustain a growing movement of evangelism and church planting without depending on its direct intervention.
The vision today is to replicate this model in other regions: inspiring, mobilizing, equipping, and supporting churches to build autonomous, sustainable, and reproducible movements.
Historical ministry figures reported in Our History. These are cumulative figures, not annual totals. Churches have also received support with transportation and meeting facilities.
“Ebenezer: thus far the Lord has helped us.”
We have big dreams, limited resources, and a firm confidence in God. Join this vision: pray, give, and get involved as we continue advancing the gospel for His glory.
