The Baptist Church of Bayamo, Cuba, celebrates with immense joy and gratitude to God the baptism of 46 new believers who have decided to follow Jesus Christ and commit their lives to His service.
On a day filled with worship of God, we saw how faith was made public, the commitment was sealed with water, and 46 hearts professed a new life in Christ. This is a powerful testimony of God’s love and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in the community of Bayamo, Cuba.
“So then, those who received his word were baptized, and that day about three thousand souls were added.” – Acts 2:41
Let us pray for these 46 brothers and sisters in the faith, that they may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and be a light in Bayamo and throughout Cuba. Let us also pray for their pastors, Giancarlos Martínez and Geinier Pacheco, that the Lord may continue to use them in the task of making disciples.
