Today we want to share a summary of what we experienced and, more importantly, reflect on the transcendental importance of bringing the Gospel to children. A service was held with children from the city of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, at the Antorcha de Salvación Baptist Church, where the gospel of Christ was preached.
Our day was full of color and creativity. Through games, songs, and crafts, we sought to present biblical truths in a way that would resonate with the minds and spirits of children. The central theme was the unconditional love of God, the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and the promise of salvation for all who believe in Him.
But beyond the fun and entertainment, this activity reminded us of the urgent need to prioritize child evangelization. Children are a valuable part of the current and future Church. They are fertile ground where the seed of faith can germinate and produce abundant fruit. Sowing the Gospel in their lives from an early age provides them with a solid foundation upon which to build their identity, their values, and their relationship with God.
May we as a church, through the gospel, call children to know Jesus, to love His Word, and to live lives that glorify His name.
