In an atmosphere of joy and evangelical responsibility, the Truth and Life Baptist Church in Jobo Rosado, Cuba, successfully concluded its Summer School, an intensive one-day program that brought together 16 children from the community. What seemed like a simple day transformed into a powerful move of God, culminating in seven professions of faith that reaffirm the power of the gospel and the urgency of sowing the Word in every heart, regardless of age.
Under the motto “Truth that Transforms,” the young participants not only enjoyed activities and crafts but also witnessed the love of Christ through each biblical lesson. The leaders and teachers, guided by the Holy Spirit, connected the message of salvation with the children’s reality, demonstrating that the grace of the Lord has no limits or generational barriers.
“This is a reminder that the gospel is the power of God for everyone who believes.” Seeing 7 of these 16 children willingly decide to give their lives to Jesus fills us with gratitude and motivates us to continue preaching, because no one is too young to understand the love of Christ.
At the same time, the churches in Mayajigua and La Nela were also able to share the gospel of Christ with a total of 20 children, 13 of whom made a profession of faith.
The Summer School was not only a success in terms of numbers, but also in its faithfulness to Christ’s command: “Go and make disciples.” The Truth and Life Baptist Church thus reaffirms its commitment to bringing the light of the gospel to all ages, sowing in fertile ground and trusting that the Lord will provide the growth. Jobo Rosado witnessed that when the church moves in obedience, the harvest is assured.
