With great joy, we give thanks to the Lord for the work He is raising up in the community of Jobo Rosado—a locality near Meneses and Yaguajay. There, missionary Orbis Martínez continues to labor faithfully in evangelism and the discipleship of new believers, proclaiming the Gospel of Christ and strengthening those who have begun to walk in the faith.
By God’s grace, they now count 3 members and 8 regular attendees who faithfully attend services, demonstrating a hunger for the Word of God and a desire to grow spiritually. We also give thanks for the ministry of Dayana—Orbis’s wife—who is serving with love in providing biblical instruction to approximately 15 children, sowing the truths of the Gospel into their hearts from an early age.
We ask all our brothers and sisters to pray for this mission, that the Lord may continue to save lives, strengthen believers, and establish the work firmly within this community. Our earnest desire and prayer is that—God willing—a church may be planted there next year, to the glory of Christ.
“And the things that you have heard from me… entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2
