In a gathering filled with blessing and unity, 23 brothers and sisters from missions and daughter churches in the northern region of Villa Clara came together this weekend in the municipality of Quemado de Güines.
The gathering was made possible by the recent acquisition of a truck by the “Sowing Hope” (*Sembrando Esperanza*) missionary project, led by Pastor Ángel Daniel and his team of pastors and missionaries.
Amidst the joy surrounding this new mode of transport, Pastor Ángel Daniel and the missionaries offered special thanksgiving to the Lord for His faithful provision, as well as to the brothers and sisters who—with generosity and willing hearts—contributed the financial resources to make this purchase possible. “Without God’s backing and the dedication of these brothers and sisters, this dream would not be a reality.”
The vehicle, already regarded as a tool of faith, enabled members from various communities to travel to the meeting point, where they shared a time of fellowship and testimony. This project, born with the goal of bringing the message of salvation to the most needy rural areas, has made significant strides in its work; among the most recent fruits are baptisms performed in the Quemado de Güines area—symbols of new lives surrendered to Christ.
This mobility, he explained, will allow them to reach previously inaccessible areas and strengthen discipleship efforts within the daughter churches.
Yesterday’s gathering not only celebrated the project’s logistics but also reaffirmed each person’s commitment to the Great Commission. At the close of the event, those present lifted up prayers for the next steps of this initiative, which has already become a beacon of light in Villa Clara.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11).
